| Mission |
To help fulfill the mission of the Cebu City Public Library in providing without bias or discrimination an accessible information service responsive to the needs and interests of those who live, work, study and visit the City of Cebu.
We aim to do this by: 1. Serving as a volunteer group to raise awareness about the value and purpose of the Cebu City Public Library and to become an example and a model in spreading the spirit of volunteerism. 2. Promoting patronage of programs and services the Cebu City Public Library is mandated by law to offer and fulfill to local residents, foreigners and visitors to Cebu City. 3. Encouraging the donation of tangible and intangible resources to the Cebu City Public Library. 4. Helping promote literacy and reading programs throughout Cebu province by inviting, sharing and collaborating with similar FRIENDS group of other libraries. 5. Helping the National Library in implementing its programs and activities through purposeful information by any form available and accessible. 6. Carrying out any other similar activity consistent with the mission stated above. |
